Talk to me about LOST!

Hellooooo!

So I lost my camera some time ago, apparently around the end of November, and didn't want to blog without pictures. But over the last couple of weeks, I've gotten some of the nicest notes from people wondering where I'd gone and if everything was okay. I was so touched that people even remembered I used to blog, let alone care enough to reach out and check on me! (Thank you!) And wouldn't you know it... we found my camera not long ago to boot!

Life is crazy busy, but good. Really good.

But today, let's talk about LOST! Do you watch? How do you feel about the new season and all this sideways alternate reality stuff?

I'm not sure how I feel yet. I feel like any and all theories are up in the air and wouldn't be surprised to see Johnny Depp arrive in a pirate ship and flip the sea upside down at this point. Any logical progression of expectations seems to have been ripped out from under me and, well, this unsettles me.

And what's with the "The time for questions is over... now is the time for answers." What answers? Where? All I have are more questions. Argh.

Anyway, my favorite part last night was the wheel in the lighthouse!

The wheel showed 108 as being somebody named "Wallace" whose name had already been crossed out. Hmmm. Who do you think is coming to the island??????

Oh, btw, I did finish the flame socks... but can't find my camera again... sigh.

Wallace huh?

All I know is the pay out better be good. We are really
being taken for a ride.

I swear if this has all been a dream.

I didn't notice the "wallace" and 108. I like the sideways - the jumping back and forth in time drove me crazy!

Yeah, I'm waiting for answers, too.

I'm glad you found your camera - mine was lost for a while, too!

I've never watched LOST. It's fine to blog without photos...but I get what you mean. Sometimes the effort of getting photos uploaded keeps me from blogging.

I missed the Wallace, and 108, too. But due to what Jacob said, I wonder if it was all a ploy just to get Jack up there to see his childhood home in the mirror. He said that Jacob had been watching them for that long, so that makes me think the flash sideways scenes are showing what would have happened if none of the characters had been chosen to come to the island at all.

It bothers me what has happened to Claire, though. She used to be so sweet. Now she's a monster. Will the same thing happen to Sayid? What is the darkness that is growing in him?

Next week seems too far away! I want answers NOW!

I missed the Wallace name!

I agree with Becky that the sideways stuff is what their lives would be like if they'd never been to the Island. In many cases it looks as though they're happier/better off with the Island!

I think Jacob and his nemesis are both tools. They seem to be manipulating everyone to their own ends. Of course, that brings up the whole "free will vs. destiny" arguement!

Welcome back!

So good to have you back! You've been missed!

I've never watched Lost, but it is shown on one of the channels. It's just that we have only one tiny tv and there are 4,5 or 6 of us fighting for the remote-LOL! I sometimes win...if I get the kids in bed at a decent hour;-)

I love hearing your different ideas about LOST! I agree with Becky that Jacob wanted Jack to see the mirrors, but 108 is a significant number too. It is the sum of the LOST numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 and the number of minutes that ticked away in the hatch before they had to press the button again.

It was also odd that Sideways Jack couldn't remember certain things about his past... not to mention that he has a son! Yes, things do seem better without the island.

Okay, now my brain aches. ;)
