While the rest of the nation is freeeeeezing (I can't believe some of your posts!), we have been experiencing unseasonably high temperatures and, well, you just can't knit with wool when you're sweating... so that leaves me with my sister's lovely sea silk shawl. Luckily, the luxury of sea silk will not be impaired by any weather.
So how hot is it here?
See that lonely 83 over one the far left? I would be in that general vicinity.
So it's obviously either my selfish knitting... or Southern California refuses to give up on global warming.
I'm pretty sure I know the reason, but I'm gonna lie low for a bit just in case.

brrr. it's cold here. so sorry to hear about your heat wave (not), lol!
It's been cold here, too. Yesterday, it never got above 30'.
Do you see the lonely -2 between Wisconsin and Illinois? That's where I live. It was -16 yesterday when I woke up. Needless to say, I'm knitting with wool, thrummed mittens actually, since my middle daughter always has cold hands.
It's warm here today too. I think it hit 28 degrees an hour ago. (perspective changes quickly sometimes)
Are you gonna do the interview I sent you?
Good to know. I have been buying shorts and t-shirts for my kiddo who doesn't have anything but cold weather clothing at the moment. He is looking forward to heading south each morning when he scrapes the ice off the car!
Clearly it is you ;-)
That's so funny! Just yesterday, my husband was saying the same thing about Denver - everywhere else is colder then usual but we're warmer!
Stay cool!
Oh, horror! Having to knit with seasilk is such a drag ;)
Actually the warm weather is weirding me out!
I'm trying REAL REAL hard to feel badly about your sweating! LOLOL!
Knit away, girlfriend :-)
Blessings,
Tammy ~@~
