Finally, Etc.

I finally got around to sewing the perfect button on my finished Eyelet Cardigan and was able to wear it to church today.

Eyelet Cardigan

It feels soft and wonderful.

Eyelet Cardigan

Eyelet Cardigan
Blue Sky Dyed Cotton - 4 hanks
Clover Bamboo circulars - Size 7
Mods: Added a bit of length to the body.

Verdict: Love it! The only problem I ran into was seaming the shoulders. The pattern didn't match up, but considering the amount of time between when I knit the back and fronts, this is most likely due to knitter error.

Meanwhile, I've watched a lot of baseball this week...

And I won a contest at Maria's blog and she passed some crazy my why! Check out this beautiful sock yarn from Tempted Yarns. The colorway is Love Bites.

ooooh! I love it. I have some of the same yarn in Cumin (a saffron color) and I've been wanting to knit this. Thing is, I hate seaming. Your picture makes me want to knit one for myself!

I Really like that sweater! One of many great sweaters in your handmade collection. You do such a great job.

But yesterday? the temp here was 100 degrees F. Why the sweater?

It's so cute! I like that pattern much better with only the one button. Love the color as well - it's very flattering on you!

That looks so great on you. I'm looking forward to years of soccer/basketball/baseball/swimming... ahead. As soon as I'm not chasing the littlest one I'll get lots of knitting time. =0) Right, there has to be something to look forward to for being the mom taxi. What makes some socks 1 at a time and others 2 at a time? I want to try the 2 at a time next.

That is just so, so pretty! You always pick such great patterns--and mostly I see them here first. Graet knitting! I'll bet that cotton is wonderfully soft, too. Going to queue the pattern now...

Thanks to Suzanne I found the pattern on Ravelry too. Don't worry about the shoulder seams. You are tall enough for people not to notice. I like the lenghtening of it.
