Noro Scarlette

For what?

NO-JEJOY-Noro-Matsuri-Scarlett

Scarlette from Jane Ellison's Noro Joy pattern book.

I've been eyeing, drooling over, coveting this for a while now and today the LYS received its first order of the new Noro Matsuri, a DK weight cotton/wool blend.

Noro Scarlette

How does it feel? Wonderful! It has a ton of stretch for a cotton and great texture. Of course the colors are outstanding. Now my only dilemma is figuring out which size to make considering the stretch.

Oh, crud. Now you'll have Scarlette done before me and it will look better on you because you're slimmer than I am! Oh, well. You'll look awesome in it! I started a swatch. I haven't even measured it or thought about it. I'll be looking for a finished sweater in about a week.

I'm eager to see what you've blocked. I should know what it is, but I can't keep up with my own projects. It's gorgeous!

Oh, pretty! That's going to be so perfect on you, too. I have been resisting buying some of that yarn (considering the rather alarming stash growth that's been happening around these parts lately), but I may be unable to resist!
