Finished Garter Stitch Shrug

While I didn't particularly enjoy knitting it, I do like the finished product. The Tahki Cotton Classic knits up nicely and feels great.

I thought the pattern was easy to follow yet inconsistent and lacking in some details regarding types of increases and decreases which ended up being important to the finished garment. Other than that, it was a quick knit.

Cool shrug. I like the kimono-ish arms.

That has got to be the most versatile and wearable knitted garment ever. That's the sort of thing I would wear with everything. It looks great! (But the thought of doubled cotton in garter stitch does not appeal AT ALL.)

Lauren - As I recall the pattern was not easy to follow. It seems to me that I had to do some fudging to get it to work. If you want to give me your e-mail addy I'll try to talk to you about it more. (I won't publish the addy.)
