A Typical Day

Another movie, a little more "Driving". BTW, this is an incredible documentary on the lives of Jim Elliot, Nate Saint and the other missionaries who died in the jungles of South America. The story is absolutely amazing and the people, both the indians and missionary families, are fascinating. I highly recommend it.

Sahara is almost ready to join in the round! Pictures soon.

And, a glimpse of my morning...

I remember reading the book years ago... I didn't know they had made a movie! Sahara is looking wonderful! :0)

Did they make the book TGoS into a movie?? I've seen "At the end of the Spear" which was breathtaking.

I like the Sahara alot, especially the short sleeve version, though I'd have to adjust the front opening. (didn't know Stitch Diva had come out with it)

Have a blast with your five lively kids. Do you engage them in house chores? My dad was a great help in the kitchen because his mom insisted her four boys had to give her a hand.

Beyond Gates of Splendor is a documentary based on E. Elliot's book. It includes extensive interviews and original time period film footage, as well as a current look at the tribe and missionary families (whose lives are still intertwined).

My boys do help around the house, although it does take a bit of prodding on my part to get the results desired. lol

Wonderful movie! Much better than The End Of The Spear! But what fun at home on the couch: five boys all attacking mom! It almost makes me wish...
